Managed with an active management strategy, the focus of the fund’s investments will vary according to the seasonal events of the sports industry, both domestically and internationally. For example, during periods like the UEFA European Football Championship or the Olympics, the fund will primarily invest in sports products and equipment, ticketing services, TV broadcasters, and betting companies. During leagues and other long-term sports events, the fund will focus more on clubs, equipment manufacturers, food producers, and sponsors.
The fund focuses on sectors that provide services to, produce for, sell and distribute, or market to sports and/or e-sports, including sports clubs, sports event organizers, TV, satellite, cable broadcasters, newspapers, magazines, and/or companies that broadcast online, educational services providers, companies that produce and/or market sports equipment, gear, and/or clothing, official betting companies, companies managing sports events and/or facilities, and those providing professional services such as ticketing, catering, audiovisual/digital infrastructure, IT, and communications. Additionally, it includes companies contributing through advertising/sponsorship and those producing or publishing digital content.
Based on back-tested returns and considering international economic cycles, an ideal investment period of 2-3 years positively influences investor returns.
